It is a very joyful, music-filled procession where the groom on horseback is accompanied by his relatives and friends. The groom may wear a turban with a sehra, which is a veil over his face. Sometimes grooms were a garland of currency, signifying prosperity. In India the groom rides a decorated horse or an elephant to the venue. The well-dressed groom and his mount are the center of attention. Before his departure from his house to the venue his sisters and paternal aunt feed the horse or elephant with sweetened grain.

All bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 1/2 the total amount prior to booking.
