I was asked the other day by a customer why we don't offer Mommy and Me Classes? I just had my little one 8 months ago and I had never heard of a Mommy and Me Class before! So I started researching infant and toddler classes in San Diego and realized there really isn't a whole lot out there for new parents and their babies. I think it is super important to interact with your little ones and I'll be honest when my son first got here, being a new mom I didn't really know what to do with him. Now that he is reacting and playing with toys and his surroundings, not being a very imaginative person, I sometimes don't know what to do with him for fun. It has definitely been a learning process for me and I have often wondered what is out there to facilitate play time and learning as a parent to play with my baby. It is so easy to get caught up in work, life and routine and forget to enjoy the little things! That being said.....Pony Land is now going to offer BABY AND ME Classes on the Farm. I didn't want to exclude the Dad's out there so we are open to ALL parents and their babies. We will have weekday and weekend classes and an 8 week enrollment discount. Classes will be one hour long and include play time, music, art and 1 on 1 animal interactions with our petting farm animals. Classes will be limited to 10 children per class. Yay!!! Wow you really get the ball rolling , we went in randomly last week, because my 15 month old is going through an animal phase, and I asked you if you had a mommy and me class going on. I will definitely be checking this out !!!

We are recommending that he start in the infant class because all children must be 2 years or older to ride the pony which is a portion of some of the courses. Ok thank you. What would they do if they don't get to ride until they are 2? My son absolutely loves to ride so I am definitely primarily interested in that. But maybe I will sign him up to do other fun stuff until he is 2.

We recommend the infant class for children 6-24 months and the toddler class for children 2-4 years old. The pricing is $150 for an 8 week course or $20 drop in fee by availability. Each class incorporates a different animal, craft activity, music or play. Pony Ride is one of the activities in the toddler class but if the children in the toddler class are under 2 years we do not let them ride the pony, we still interact and allow them to sit up on the pony however we do not allow them to ride with the pony at a walk.
